Life Seeds is committed to seeing that the money you donate to various programs
actually gets to the programs, not to administrative and fundraising costs. Since
2006, all administrative and fundraising costs have been covered by board members.
This includes the filing fee for charity status, brochure development, copying and
mailing costs and display materials.
Life Seeds has been blessed by donations of printed materials by several print
shops including Henderson's office systems, web site development by Brian Sade,
accounting help by Deb Yeack of Unlimited Business Services, and grant writing by
Colleen Ghasedi.
Once your money is received in foreign countries, Life Seeds has accountability
systems in place. In India, we receive detailed monthly accounting on where the
money is spent, photos and reports on the impact we are making. In Uganda, we also
partner with American NGO's as well as our Ugandan group and receive accounting,
photos and reports from each group. When Life Seeds travels to these countries,
we check on all programs, talk to the beneficiaries, check accountability and see
the impact we make first hand.
